And Then There Was Cliff Lee

Who pitched a masterpiece against the Rays.

Imagine the possibilities for the Phillies in the post-season had they kept him.

But, then again, had they done that they wouldn't have acquired Roy Oswalt, who seems re-born since joining the Phillies.

But Halladay and Lee, wow!

Cliff Lee had another spectacular performance against the Yankees last night with 13 strikeouts. He is now 7-0 in his post-season career and an ERA just over 1. He is going to fetch a hefty price in the off-season and probably end up with the Yankees.
