What Do Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma, Michigan, USC, Florida, Florida State, Miami, Notre Dame and Penn State Have in Common?

None of these historic (either recently historic or longer-term historic) college football programs is in the top 10 in the BCS.

For the current BCS top 10, click here.

When -- if ever -- was the last time that none of these teams was in the Top 10?

Yeah, probably never. I was just thinking that its remarkable that USC, Florida, and Texas are all having bad years. These teams have dominated the last ten years of college football.
I wonder if there are any similarities in why they are having down years.
